1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pepped mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pepped is an AI-powered motivational coaching app that provides pep talks, encouragement, and hype before big moments. Pepped is not a mental health service, therapy, or counseling tool. It is designed for motivational and entertainment purposes only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Pepped. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

Pepped offers a free tier with up to 15 messages per day.

Premium Subscription

  • Premium is available as a monthly ($6.99/month) or annual ($39.99/year) subscription
  • A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers
  • Premium provides unlimited messaging (subject to a fair-use soft cap of 150 messages per day)

Billing

  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, though you may be eligible for a refund through Apple’s policies

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or abuse the AI system
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
  • Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. AI-Generated Content

Pepped uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. While we strive for helpful and positive content:

  • AI responses are generated content and may not always be accurate or appropriate
  • Pepped is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind (medical, legal, financial, psychological, etc.)
  • You should not rely on Pepped for critical decisions
  • We are not liable for any actions taken based on AI-generated content

8. Mental Health Disclaimer

Pepped is not a mental health service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact:

While Pepped includes crisis detection features that display these resources, this is not a substitute for professional help.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Pepped and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pepped shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by updating this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
